Design headquarters for Laminex
Include a showroom for clients
Design and materiality choice must reflect Laminex as a company
Sustainability focus

Laminex headquarters are located at 1 Bligh Street Sydney. A sustainably designed building with unique column free floor plates designed to maximise workspace. It holds Australia’s largest green wall on the ground floor and a naturally ventilated internal atrium 135 metres in height.

The head office has been designed to showcase the versatile range of products that Laminex have on offer. The focal point of the space is the large open showroom that is visible from almost any point in the office. It can be used for a number of different functions including, client meetings, supplier visits and product launch events.

Timeless terrazzo tiles have been implemented as the main flooring throughout the reception area and showroom as they are both visually appealing and durable for a commercial space. Soft carpet and felt acoustic panels have been utilised in the private offices and breakout areas to mitigate noise reverberations allowing for maximum work productivity.

Laminex are a very collaborative team, so the inclusion of a hot-desking space was vital. This area is separated by floor to ceiling glass wall to create a seamless connection to other parts of the office and ensure enough natural light is provided.
